It started with a wedding—and a lot of searching.
In 2019, when we were planning our wedding, we had a celebration to dream about and a long list of people to find: makeup artists, singers, musicians, caterers, photographers, videographers, decorators, and the right venue.

Our choices often came down to who we knew, who someone else knew, and whether a referral happened to reach us. What should have been an exciting part of planning became a daunting search. We kept wondering: how many wonderful professionals were nearby that we simply had no way to discover?
That question stayed with us long after the wedding. We wanted to make that search easier—for the next couple, the next family, and anyone looking for a service within our community. Together, we turned that shared desire into Kebero.
Why Kebero?
A kebero is more than a drum. In Ethiopian and Eritrean culture, its rhythm is part of celebrations, gatherings, and traditions that connect generations. It invites people to come together, move together, and share a moment of joy.
That is the spirit we want to bring online.

Kebero brings Ethiopian and Eritrean businesses, independent professionals, and side hustles into one directory, helping people explore services, find contact information, and connect with providers. Where available, customers can also request a booking.
